Mary Stayed Out All Night OST

So the first song from the upcoming drama Mary Stayed Out All Night sung by its star Jang Geun Suk has been released.

Dramabeans has been kind enough to translate the lyrics for English speakers to  understand.

So apparently, the title translates into something like, “Take care, my bus!” Or is it “Take care of my bus?” Either way, huh?

In this drama, Jang Geun Suk’s character is  a musician who ends up in a fake marriage with the lead female character. Yes, very original, I know. But I’m not going to lie and pretend I don’t enjoy some of those fake relationship-turned-love romances. But I digress.

So he’s a rockstar who gets into a fake marriage. So perhaps this is his way of saying goodbye to his life on the road. So it’s, “Sayonara, My Bus! Which could possibly make sense till you read the lyrics.

Hmmm * 2

So, you know when you absolutely love a Korean drama that you stalk DC gall and the drama’s official website for updates and when you get them, you excitedly copy and paste them into google translate and then it spits out gibberish?  Then you kinda wish you hadn’t wasted your time? Yeah, this is something like that.

The song is itself sounds okay but what the hell does it mean? I guess this is one of the few times it pays not to understand Korean. Uhm… MSOAN, fighting?

I am really anticipating this.. but to be honest, I’m not really liking the way they are promoting this series.. instead of making me so excited to jump in, this is making me just dip my toes.. I’m still going to watch it though..

BTW, the OST has nothing to do with the entire story, right?!? I hope the common cliche of the premise will be spiced up here.. come on show, DON’T WASTE the actors!! I like them..

The long trailer they released doesn’t look too bad. But why does she dress like a hobo?

I think they are going to contrast the bohemian-ish with that of a rich and powerful character of Kim Jae Wook.. I like this guy in Coffee Prince actually and I’d like to watch him evolve in this series!

I saw Moon Geun-young in Cinderella’s sister early this year.. she’s a very talented actress and I’m glad she’s taking on a lighter role this time..
