Jo In Sung And Ha Ji Won Cast In “The King”

Rumors swirled in the last month that Jo In Sung and Ha Ji Won might be reuniting in the drama The King, seven years after they starred in What Happened In Bali. Their fans must have wished and prayed hard because the rumor is now fact. According to HanCinema, this now makes The King the most anticipated drama next year … hmmm, D-U-H!

Since Kwon Bob has been put on hold, Jo In Sung turned his attention to The King, and it is said that he was Ha Ji Won’s choice of partner. If she’s behind their reunion, then, we can expect they’ll transcend their past chemistry.

In The King, the two actors will play a king and a princess whose respective families hail from the North and the South. Through misunderstandings and prejudices, the two eventually fall in love.

I gotta admit that Jo In Sung’s appeal escapes me, but I like Ha Ji Won, and I am excited about this news … 2012’s already looking good for Kdrama addicts 😉

Last minute edit: The script for The King will be overseen not by Best Love’s Hong Sisters, but by a different set of Hongs—those responsible for Beethoven Virus. I apologize for my initial mistake.
