After some time in limbo, Goodby Mr. Black found a home on MBC, and production could finally proceed, with the cast and crew lately spending time in Thailand to film. However, the drama has shown its first official sign of life today with the release of the gang’s script reading.
The event was held last January 9th at MBC’s Sangnam HQ in Seoul. Of course, before fully and passionately immersing themselves in the table read, everyone shared a warm New Year greetings with each other.
Goodbye Mr. Black marks Moon Chae Won‘s comeback since pairing up with Joo Won for Good Doctor, and she’s been sporting a short hair for this new role, which is proving to be exciting as it is taking her to foreign locations with her leading men, Kim Kang Woo and Lee Jin Wook. Yoo In Young, Song Jae Rim, and (apparently) Daniel Henney also make up the big cast.
The emotional drama that is loosely based on The Count of Monte Cristo will begin airing in March, taking over One More Happy Ending‘s time slot.
