Next week feels like an unofficial premiere week because we’ve got so many new shows debuting! This is the latest from MBC which takes over Lookout‘s time slot.
Here is the synopsis from Koreandrama.org:
Wang Won (Im Shi Wan) is the Crown Prince during the Goryeo Dynasty who harbors an extreme lust for power. His childhood friend, Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun), is his trusted ally and bodyguard. When they meet Eun San (Im Yoon Ah), the beautiful daughter of the wealthiest man in the country, they become inseparable friends. But when both Won and Rin fall in love with Eun San, what will happen to their ambitions and friendship?
The drama is 100% pre-produced so let’s hope this fares well and one version doesn’t air in China while the Korean version gets constant re-edits based on viewer feedback or whatever. I’m just saying…
Here are the posters:
Oh lookie here, another intense love triangle. YoonA, left to me, I’d pick the bodyguard because there’s less drama there but we both know you’re not going to listen to me.
The official international title is The King in Love but it seems like the fandom is sticking to The King Loves. There’ll be 40 35-minutes episodes with the first two airing on July 17th.
