“Avengers Social Club” Episode 7 Preview

This is yet another drama that debuted a few weeks ago. Here’s the synopsis from Wikipedia:

Features three women from different walks of life coming together for revenge: a fish store ajumma who envisioned a better life for herself, a housewife who grew up an orphan, and a chaebol magnate’s daughter who was raised like a delicate flower. They’re an unlikely trio who would never otherwise meet, but they join forces to carry out their individual revenges. Although they start out as co-conspirators, along the way they become close to one another.

It sounds hilarious and with ratings hovering above 5%, it’s fair to say that it’s a success for tvN.

Oh, it seems the group added a fourth member! 😅 I can only imagine what his interactions with these ladies would be like. Is anyone watching it? I’ll be checking it out this week.

The cast have such good chemistry and the writing and directing is pretty good too 🙂 The main group of characters are really great and provide plenty of laughs and tears. Lee Yo Won’s character is so cute haha Ra Mi Ran and Myung Se Bin are doing fantastic with their characters, and Joon is doing really well for such a new actor 🙂 It generally has a fairly light fun feel, but with plenty of depth and feeling that pops out, reminding us that they’re humans. Didn’t expect to be liking it as much as I have, but I definitely recommend it if you like family stuff – it kind of reminds me of the Reply series in terms of tone.

This has turned out to be my favorite of the crop of new shows. It’s funy and warm and sad and touching. I want to friends with these women and have them help me with my problems.

I have only watched two episodes, but I am really liking what this show is bringing to the table. Excellent and much needed social commentary on bad behavior by adult males, including cheating, domestic violence, and general entitlement. It’s funny and it makes you think–that’s the best kind of drama for me.

I love this drama! It is so funny and I also live the dynamic between the women trio and the high school student ❤
