It’s Deja Vu for Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na in “Touch Your Heart” Teasers (+Poster)

What? I am so late to the party but have our Grim Reaper and Sunny (from Goblin) reincarnated into another couple? 2019 really is the year!

Touch Your Heart is an upcoming tvN series starring Lee Dong Wook as Kwon Jung Rok, an arrogant, hardworking lawyer and Yoo In Na as Oh Jin Shim/Oh Yoon Seo, a popular actress who suffers a major career setback after being embroiled in a scandal with a chaebol son. To gain experience for her comeback role, she works as Kwon Jung Rok’s secretary.

Will Korean dramas ever tire of the boss-secretary romance? To the extent that they still make it one when it really isn’t?

This will be a reunion for Lee Dong Wook (Life) and Yoo In Na (One More Happy Ending) who were previously paired together in 2016 hit drama Goblin. I think it’s fair to say that the Sunny/Grim Reaper story was a highlight for many viewers of that drama.

Touch Your Heart is based on webcomic Reach of Sincerity by Yegeo and directed by Park Joon Hwa (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Because This Is My First Life) which makes me more excited because I like his work. I think this will be delightfully romantic.

Here are the teasers:

These people think they are slick, huh? They totally know why they gave us that bridge scene. I wonder how many subtle callbacks to Goblin there’ll be. As it’s the same network, I wonder if we’ll get any cameos.

Teaser poster:

So far, the teasers are all about fate, sparks flying when they touch and all that good stuff but it’s about a lawyer and the likely spoiled actress who’ll have to be his secretary for a limited time so I’m envisioning an entirely different dynamic. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see exactly how “touch your heart” translates in this drama.

Touch Your Heart is scheduled to premiere on tvN on January 30th.

OH! I love this pairing. They look so comfortable together and they have the same experience level (acting wise, also age wise ). 2019 really might be the drama year!
